Nickel–metal hydride battery
Nickel–metal hydride battery (NiMH or Ni–MH) is a type of rechargeable battery. The chemical reaction at the positive electrode is similar to that of the nickel–cadmium cell (Ni-Cd), with both using nickel oxide hydroxide (Ni-ooh). However, the negative electrodes use a hydrogen-absorbing alloy instead of cadmium. Since Cadmium is a toxic Material, the Ni batteries are outlawed in Several Countries. Please check if the Ni-Cd Batteries for export are allowed in your Country.
NiMH batteries can have two to three times the Capacity of Ni-Cd Batteries of the Same Size.
